Preparation for your Class: What do you need to bring?
To ensure an optimal experience in our classes, you must prepare adequately. Here is what you should bring:
Comfortable clothing: Be sure to wear clothing in which you feel free to move. Remember that during the class we will do barefoot exercises, which facilitate contact with the ground and improves balance. So leave your slippers at home!
Cushion and towel: We recommend having a cushion and a towel on your hand. These items will come in handy when I tell you to, as they will help you maintain proper posture and avoid unnecessary strain on your neck and sacrum. If you suffer from an injury or simply want more comfort during practice, these accessories will be of great help.

Establishing your Routine: How often should you attend?
We understand that each person has a different agenda and commitments, but to obtain optimal results we recommend that you follow these guidelines:
At least once a week: Even by attending a weekly class, you will begin to perceive the benefits of Pilates in your body and mind. This minimum frequency will allow you to stay active and begin to notice positive changes in your general well-being.
2-3 times per week: To maximize your results and make rapid progress, we suggest you attend 2-3 times per week. Establishing this routine will allow you to consolidate the exercises, work on your strength, flexibility, and coordination more effectively, and obtain visible results in a shorter period of time.
Pilates can be a great addition to your other training activities. It is ideal as a supplement to end the week and also integrates perfectly into cross-training programs. By combining it with other disciplines, such as yoga, strength training, or cardio, you will achieve a complete balance and reap the maximum benefits of each modality.

A Typical Pilates Class
Each class contains a series of exercises with different "challenges" to end with a few minutes of relaxation and meditation.
All the exercises have various degrees of difficulty, with which the class is personalized, by working each one at their level, according to their physical condition.
I will teach you the variations and levels during the session, and I will guide you to work at the level you see fit.
You decide how much you want to work.
Heating. Different fluid movements that come from Tai Chi, Yoga, and Dance are incorporated. Balance and breathing are worked on.
Core of the class. The series of exercises is always carried out thinking about the basic principles of Pilates: Alignment, Center, Concentration, Coordination, Balance, Fluency, Precision, and Breathing.
Outcome. It includes some exercise that is difficult to achieve and whose "challenge" motivates the student.
Relaxation and meditation. A few minutes are dedicated to becoming aware of one's own body.
